The Subscriptions Table
The Subscriptions table shows every subscription across your book of business in one place. It's a useful tool for tracking renewals, forecasting revenue, and prioritising which accounts need attention before their contract ends. It can show:
Customer: the account the subscription belongs to
Subscription name
Product the subscription is for (where applicable)
Value of the subscription
Start date and Renewal date
Custom fields unique to your organisation
Why use the Subscriptions table
Reporting on subscriptions helps CS and Revenue leaders forecast renewals, track ARR, and spot contracts coming up for renewal before they become a risk. Saved views let you review this in minutes each week.
CSMs and Revenue leaders can track upcoming renewal dates across their book of business, prioritise outreach, and make sure no subscription is missed.
Subscription data, including custom fields, can also be used as a trigger or condition in Hook automations, so renewal dates and other subscription attributes can kick off reminders, tasks or notifications automatically.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How can I see the subscriptions for my own book of business?
Set the dropdown at the top of the table to Mine, add the columns you need, and save it as a view.
Can I see subscriptions renewing in the next 30, 60 or 90 days?
Yes. Add a filter on Renewal date and choose the date range you want to review. Save the view once you've added the relevant columns.
Can subscription data be used in automations?
Yes. Subscription fields, including custom fields, can be used as triggers or conditions in Hook automations, for example to notify a CSM ahead of a renewal date.
Can I add custom fields to the Subscriptions table?
Yes. Any custom field configured on subscriptions can be added as a column, used as a filter, and used in automations. If it doesn't appear in Available columns, an admin needs to turn on its Subscriptions table toggle in Settings > Custom fields.
What's the difference between a subscription and an expansion?
A subscription is the base contract for a product. An expansion is an add-on to that contract. An account is only active in Hook while it has a current subscription; expansions on their own don't keep an account active. See Subscriptions: Troubleshooting Guide for more detail.
Why is a subscription missing, or showing the wrong renewal date?
Subscriptions come from your CRM, so check the record there first. See Subscriptions: Troubleshooting Guide for where renewal dates come from and how often data updates.
Can I share views?
Copy the URL from your browser's address bar and send it to another Hook user. To make a view available to everyone in your organisation, see Share Reports with your Organisation. To share with someone outside Hook, export the table.
