Connecting Jiminny to Hook
To connect Jiminny to Hook, you’ll need three pieces of information on the Jiminny Authenticate page.
Required Details
The following details will require a Jiminny Admin access to obtain.
Jiminny API Key, Host and Earliest Date are required to connect to Hook
1. API Key
What it is: This is like your account’s “password” for API access.
Where to find it:
In Jiminny, go to Organisation Settings → General → API Key.
Click on the Generate API Key button to create a new key.
Where to Set it: Copy and paste it into the API key field.
2. Host
What it is: The region your Jiminny account is hosted in (either us or eu).
Where to find it:
Log into Jiminny.
Check the login URL in your browser:
If it contains app.jiminny.com, your host is us.
If it contains app.eu.jiminny.com, your host is eu.
Alternatively, your Jiminny admin or Jiminny Support can confirm your region.
Where to set it: Enter either us or eu (in lowercase) into the Host field.
3. Earliest Date
What it is: The date from which to start syncing historical data (calls, transcripts, etc.).
Where to set it:
Choose a date (e.g. 2025-11-30T00:00:00Z) depending on how much history you want imported.
Enter it into the Earliest Date field the following format: 2025-11-30T00:00:00Z
Steps to Connect
Enter the API Key, Host and Earliest Date, as described in Required Details above.
Click Submit credentials and inform your technical implementation contact at Hook.
If successful, the integration will be connected and ready to sync Hook data.
Tip: If you can’t find the API section in Jiminny, you may need an Admin role in your Jiminny account to access it.
