👤 Managers and Technical Admins have access to these settings in Hook
Setting Goals across your Organisation
Goals in Hook are used to track objectives and task relevant to you and your teams and can be based on the Engagement Levels of accounts. Help your team take action on accounts by creating goals with set deadlines, that can be manually or automatically tracking using Hook’s Key Metrics.
Set Goals on individual accounts from the account page, or across all accounts from Goal Settings. Configure goals for accounts across your organisation that meet a set criteria: these are called rules-based goals.
Create a Rules-Based Goal
Go to Goal Settings.
Next to the + icon, start typing the name of the company objective.
Select the Priority and Deadline for the goal. Click Save.
If necessary, add a filter(s) by clicking the pencil ✎ with the blue background under the company objective name. You can add multiple filters to select which accounts this company objective should be applied to.
You can now add goals within this company objective. Click + New Goal to add a goal.
Select the Goal type. Goals can be automatic (tracked based on metrics in Hook), manual (number) (quantifiable goals not associated to Hook metrics) and manual (yes/no) (goals with two options, unrelated to Hook metrics).
Choose the direction you want the metric to change by (increase/decrease) and whether this should change by a scalar or a percentage value.
Click Save.
Multiple goals can be added for a single company objective. If adding more than one goal, you can control the weighting of each. The weighting assigns how much this goal contributes to the company objective’s progress.
When all goals are added, click Reactivate to save these changes.
Edit a Rules-Based Goal
Go to Goal Settings.
Select the company objective to edit by clicking the dropdown icon.
Toggle the switch off to grey to deactivate a goal for that company objective.
To remove a goal from a company objective, click the bin icon next to the toggle switch.
Any edits will be visible on future qualifying accounts only. Any existing company objectives created on an account before the edit will not be updated automatically.
Delete a Rules-Based Goal
Go to Goal Settings.
Click the bin icon on the far right of the company objective name.
Select Delete to confirm the deletion.
The company objective will be removed for future qualifying accounts.
