Adding Users to a Cadence

Add users of your platform into a cadence directly from Hook.

Updated over 6 months ago

Cadencing

Cadencing, also known as sequencing, is choosing the optimal frequency, timing and order of emails sent to a list of people. By identifying different types of users or customers in Hook, you may want to engage with these users to improve the health score of the account, or to share personalised content based on user activity.

Hook integrates with Salesloft, Outreach, Salesforce and HubSpot so that personal and team cadences can be sent directly in Hook. Find out more about Hook integrations here.

There are two ways to add Users to a cadence.

Add a single User to a cadence on the User Page.

Add multiple Users to a cadence from the Users Table (or the Customers Table, using the Drill down to Users button).

Cadencing for Driving Engagement

Hook provides insight on user engagement with various user activity metrics. For example, the number of active users and the number of platform logins for the past week for a specific customer. Add filters to the Users Table to generate targeted lists of Users for cadences. Engage users at scale, driving engagement across at-risk accounts.

Add a Single User to a Cadence

Note: Only Users that are contacts in Hook will be available to cadence. These are typically Users that exist as contacts in your CRM and meet a specific criteria, e.g. primary contacts. Email [email protected] for information.

  1. Go to the page of the User to cadence. You can either:

    1. Search for this User in the search bar.

    2. Select the User from a Users Table view.

    3. Click on a User from the account page.

  2. Select the cadence button (this varies depending on the integration for your organisation).

  3. Select a cadence. This can be a Personal cadence or a Team cadence. Cadences are grouped by tags and can be searched. Your recently used cadences will appear at the top of the list.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Click Add to cadence.

  6. Once the cadence has successfully run, you will see a success message.

❓Frequently Asked Questions

Can automations be created to send cadences?

Automated cadences add Users to cadences based on Suggested Actions on an account. For example, if an account has a suggested action to increase the number of active users, inactive users on that account are automatically added to an appropriate cadence. Email [email protected] to configure this for your organisation.

Can I save a list of Users that I’ve sent a cadence to?

Lists of Users can be saved in the Users Table. This list can be used for cadencing in the future.

How can I confirm that a cadence has run successfully?

A success message is displayed with the list of Users that were added to the cadence. Any Users not yet added will appear in a pending list. This will also be visible in the list of cadence activity from your sales engagement platform.
